Excela Health and the Westmoreland Fayette Council are pleased to present the Explorer program at Excela Hospitals. Exploring is a high school aged, coed program which will give all students the opportunity to learn more about careers in the healthcare field such as Radiology, Therapy, Nursing, and Pathology.
On Wednesday, October 3 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. we would like to invite you to join us at Excela Square Latrobe to begin to look at the many health careers that are available in our community. This is a continuing program that meets monthly and would require you and a parent to fill out an application and pay an annual participation fee of $34.
Call the Excela Health Call Center by Monday, October 1 at 877-771-1234 to reserve your spot.

Our next trip will be an overnight hike on the Laurel Highlands Trail (Rt 31 to Rt 653) this upcoming weekend depending upon the weather. In preparation for the trip we will be reviewing some first aid skills with hopes that we will not need to use any of them on this trip.
Also remember, to complete your homework for the Cyberchip and Digital Technology merit badge. See last week’s post if you do not remember what they were.
