Merit Badge Opportunity – Indian Lore @ Ft. Necessity – July 13, 2018

When: July 13, 2018 @ 10:00 am
Where: Fort Necessity
Cost: $5 per scout


The scouts will complete the merit badge by learning about the Seneca Indians in the 1750s.  They will make a wampum bracelet, learn three American Indian games and study the American Indian artifacts in the visitor center.  Some of the participants will even get to dress in try-on clothes.  There is a merit badge counselor on staff to sign the boys’ blue cards.  The program will start at 10:00 and scouts should bring a lunch.

There are no prerequisites.
Program Length: about 3 ½ hours
Starts at 10:00 a.m. at the park visitor center

Reservations are required. There is a $5 per scout fee for the program.  Adults are free.

Campfire at Scouting Knob – June 26, 2018

Please join us at Scouting Knob on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 for a campfire. All scouts in the Murrysville/Export/Delmont area are welcome to attend.

For Arrow of Light Scouts, this would be a great opportunity to come and learn more about Troop 213 and the program we offer.
