Summer is still a few months away, but it is time to start thinking about summer camp. The Troop needs to tell Council how many boys will be going to summer camp this year. To do this they require a $50 deposit for each boy who will be attending. This deposit will be credited towards each scouts summer camp balance, but it is non-refundable.
As usual, the troop will be attending the 1st week of summer camp (June 18th thru 24th) at Camp Conestoga. The total cost for each scout will be $335 if paid in full by May 2nd.

Come learn about the exciting opportunities that may come from a career in emergency medical services (EMS), rescue, and related healthcare fields! Through a partnership between North Huntingdon EMS/Rescue and the BSA Exploring Programs, students will have the opportunity to meet the administration and staff members, tour the facility and equipment, and discuss opportunities that may lie ahead. This is a continuing program that would require you to fill out an application (which will be available at this meeting) and to pay an annual participation fee of $24. We encourage you to bring your parents and friends to this first meeting! So that we may prepare properly for the evening, we are asking that you call 724-864-2540 to reserve your spot at this informational meeting.
For more information check out the event on Facebook.
This week we will have an engineering challenge and will be voting on the voting on the summer trip.
If you can not make the meeting, please send in your vote for this years summer trip by email.
See you on Tuesday.
