CodeCampKidz is offering a free introductory course to learn basic web development for free to Boy Scouts. The course includes two free online classes led by a live instructor. Each scout will work through 4 projects from the basics to more advanced topics. These projects may be usable to fulfill requirement for the Digital Technologies and/or Programming merit badges. Saturday, November 10, we will have a day trip into Pittsburgh to go to the National Aviary and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. We will end the day with a stop at the Games ‘N At arcade in the Southside.
There will be no cost for the admission to the Aviary and the Museum, but each scout will need to bring money for lunch and dinner plus $9 for the cost of 2 hours of unlimited play at Games ‘N At. (est. $25-$30)
The itinerary for the trip:
9:00 am – Meet at Hills Church
10:00 am – Arrive at the Aviary
12:00 pm – Leave Aviary for Oakland, Lunch at Lu Lu’s Noodles in Oakland
1:00 pm – Carnegie Museum of Natural History
5:00 pm – Leave Musem, Dinner at Mineo Pizza in Sq. Hill
7:00 pm – Games ‘N At Arcade
9:30 pm – Return to Hills Church
